Responsibilities

Characterize biotherapeutics by developing Biosensor assays, triaging early-stage hits, assisting lead optimization, and candidate selection
Rigorous analysis of kinetic biomolecular binding interaction data and detailed reporting that impacts project portfolio advancement
Present Biosensor data at multidiscipline project team meetings and regularly contribute strategic recommendations that progress programs
Develop and implement innovative value-added Biosensor assays, explore novel technologies, and new instrumentation that expand capabilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help accelerate the pace of discovery to support multiple research areas

Required

A PhD with 4 years or MS with 9+ years of relevant experience in Biochemistry, Biology, or related discipline
Experience with the biotherapeutic drug discovery process
Comprehensive applied experience developing and executing protein-protein binding Biosensor assays, including surface plasmon resonance (SPR), to characterize biotherapeutic candidates
Excellent communication, presentation, and data management skills
Ability to quickly adapt within a fast-paced, dynamic, and innovation driven scientific research environment

Preferred

Experience with Biacore, Carterra, Octet, KinExA, or LigandTracer Biosensor instruments and applications are highly preferred
Post graduate laboratory research experience in an industry setting collaborating with interdisciplinary biotherapeutic discover teams
Experience with automation and database workflows
