Responsibilities

Oversee the architecture and design of our web applications, ensuring they are robust, scalable, secure, and provide an excellent user experience

Perform regular code reviews, ensuring the quality of the code base and adherence to best practices

Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including agile methodologies, automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps

Evaluate and manage relationships with vendors and third-party service providers, ensuring they meet our standards and contribute positively to our projects

Mentor and develop team members, identifying opportunities for growth and providing constructive feedback

Provide timely resource forecasts to IPT/functional organizations and assures proper staffing is in place to execute the SOW, while maintaining an integrated schedule

Ensure successful planning and execution of program test engineering activities

Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to optimize the performance of the web platform

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

4+ years of experience with cloud computing (AWS)

5+ years of experience with managing Software Engineering teams

Strong expertise of JavaScript/TypeScript and proficiency with the React ecosystem

Strong Experience with Next.js and GraphQL

Experience building and maintaining modern frontend pipelines and design systems

Experience with performance optimization, security best practices and SEO

Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js, Go, or Java

Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, and Azure

Strong understanding of web application architecture, including build systems like webpack, REST APIs, caching, scalability, and distributed systems

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with DevOps practices
