Senior Director, Alliance Management
Sabai Global is a leader in providing Institutional Review Board (IRB) services, and they are seeking a Senior Director, Alliance Management. This role focuses on strategic relationship leadership and commercial collaboration to maximize value creation and client satisfaction, acting as a liaison between Sabai and its key partners.

Responsibilities
Serve as the senior relationship owner for designated highvalue client alliances, ensuring the delivery of measurable value, satisfaction, and longterm engagement
Leverage established seniorlevel relationships from prior industry experience to accelerate engagement with key stakeholders and decisionmakers, fostering deeper strategic partnerships for Sabai
Take full ownership of identifying, advancing, and securing all business opportunities within assigned highvalue client alliances to drive growth and achieve revenue targets (quarterly and yearly)
Develop and execute multiyear strategic partnership plans in collaboration with operational leadership and the Chief Commercial Officer
Lead executive and operational governance frameworks—owning accountability for joint objectives, performance metrics, and continuous improvement
Anticipate and mitigate risks, manage escalations diplomatically, and align operational delivery with strategic commitments
Closely collaborate with Client Services team to ensure customer objectives are met, partnershiplevel trends are assessed, and customer communication and engagement matrix is followed
Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships by introducing new service offerings, therapeutic areas, or collaboration models
Represent Sabai with professionalism and strategic acumen at every client touchpoint, including executive meetings, joint planning sessions, and governance reviews
Lead governance forums and executivelevel touchpoints to drive transparency, accountability, and mutual success
Identify opportunities to expand service offerings within existing partnerships to maximize value creation and revenue growth
Continually review KPIs for new business and revenue growth for Sabai portfolio health
Collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Operational leadership to shape strategies that expand and optimize the company’s client portfolio within designated accounts
Support business development activities where appropriate by contributing strategic insight to opportunity development, solution design, cross functional alignment, pricing considerations, and proposal refinement
Translate client feedback and market insights into actionable strategies for service innovation and competitive differentiation
Participate in prospect meetings and presentations, serving as a thought partner and subject matter expert on alliance value and strategic engagement
Maintain a disciplined approach to alliance tracking and reporting within organizational CRM and other management systems
Provide market and partner feedback to the commercial team, helping refine targeting strategy, service positioning, and competitive differentiation
Participate in approved conferences, trade shows, and networking events to strengthen brand presence and identify new partnership opportunities
Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing teams to shape partnership strategies that align with Sabai’s commercial objectives and brand awareness campaigns
Ensure revenue targets for assigned partnerships are met through strategic account planning aligned with Chief Commercial Officer
Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on opportunities to expand, restructure, or enhance strategic alliances
Collaborate with crossfunctional leaders (Operations, Client Services, Quality, Regulatory, etc.) to ensure delivery excellence and alignment with growth goals
Evaluate emerging trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activities to inform strategy for both alliance management and business development
Develop analyses and recommendations on alliance performance, revenue trends, partnership expansion potential, and strategic risks
Provide periodic (quarterly, and annual) reporting related to partner health, governance activities, opportunity pipelines, and longterm growth forecasting
Drive or support strategic initiatives that strengthen operational efficiency, service adoption, and client engagement across highpriority accounts
Represent Sabai at industry forums and conferences to enhance visibility and attract new strategic opportunities
Report on revenue performance, growth initiatives, and strategic outcomes to Chief Commercial Officer
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in alliance management, business development, or strategic account leadership within clinical research, CRO, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries
Deep understanding of IRB/GCP processes, clinical operations, and the broader clinical research ecosystem
Strong track record of advancing strategic partnerships and delivering significant revenue growth through relationship expansion
Experience leading the creation and negotiation of strategic contractual frameworks alongside legal counsel
Established track record of cultivating and maintaining senior-level and executive relationships, with the ability to leverage these networks to accelerate success in building new strategic partnerships for Sabai
Preferred
Direct clinical trial leadership roles within CRO or sponsor organizations preferred
