Work with assigned area of the company (AFCO Direct insurance premium finance) to expand knowledge of B2B lending, the insurance industry and the company
Complete specific projects for departments
Assist department staff with various tasks in support of business
Participate in internship meetings and discussions across Truist and AFCO Direct
Qualification
Required
Must be a rising college junior or senior; Preference given to rising seniors
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Ability to effectively interact with teammates at all levels of the organization and with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to handle multiple tasks and details
Ability to operate a computer with Windows knowledge; Word and Excel preferred
Ability to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
Ability to work virtually or in an assigned company office
Preferred
College/University major, minor and/or specific coursework desired – Marketing, Communications, Insurance, Business Administration, Finance
Professional Interests – Digital Marketing, Marketing Automation, Sales, Project Management, Data Analytics
Skill Sets – Excel, PPT, Adobe Experience Manager, CRM, strong verbal and written communication skills, collaborative, social media content creation
