M&D Supply, Inc. is a company focused on providing exceptional customer service in the rental equipment industry. They are seeking a Retail Customer Service Rental team member to engage with customers, manage rental transactions, and maintain inventory while ensuring a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and engage customers entering the rental department

Answer rental calls, radio and phone calls

Generate customer special orders

Advise customers/demonstrate rental equipment

Complete rental transactions in accordance with company procedures

Assemble/stock incoming inventory in accordance with company procedures; restock back stock as needed

Inform management of inventory issues needing attention, including merchandise that needs to be added

Maintain general housekeeping in rental department, both inside and outside

Maintain a high level of safety and security in the rental department

Communicate equipment repair status to Rental Department Manager and customers

Inspect ingoing and outgoing units

“On site” attendance must fall within the company standards as outlined in the handbook

Any other tasks required as determined by management

Must be 18 years old or older

Physical activity includes: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, keyboarding, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion

Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds from ground to waist level

Rental department team members are required to have visual acuity to operate machinery, such as drill press, chain sharpeners, or power saws

Must be able to operate various equipment including but not limited to: Computer work-station, software programs, box crusher, key maker machine, pressure washer, chain sharpener, and lift

Rental department team members are subject to environmental conditions
