Responsibilities

Architect and build greenfield systems supporting execution monitoring and platform control in a live trading environment
Design and develop high-performance backend services in C# / .NET , with an emphasis on scalability, resilience, and maintainability
Contribute to the frontend stack (JavaScript / TypeScript / React or similar), ensuring usability and clean architecture for desk-facing workflows
Own technical direction: architecture decisions, service design, performance strategy, and implementation standards
Collaborate closely with traders and desk users to translate real-time workflows into robust technical solutions
Build systems with production-readiness in mind: observability, reliability, monitoring, and operational controls
Lead design discussions, mentor engineers, review code, and elevate engineering standards across the team
Work across distributed systems and data-intensive workloads where performance is critical

Qualification

Required

Strong experience building production-grade systems in C# / .NET
Proven architecture and system design skills (services, distributed systems, performance, scalability)
Comfortable owning full lifecycle delivery: architecture → build → deployment → production
Ability to contribute to frontend development with modern UI frameworks (JavaScript/TypeScript, React preferred)
Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with desk stakeholders

Preferred

Experience building systems used in real-time / high-throughput environments
Exposure to financial markets, trading technology, or systematic strategies
Familiarity with modern engineering practices (CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, microservices)
Experience with medium to large data systems and performance optimisation
