Technology Associate Rotational Program, Full-Time - Summer 2026
Lord Abbett is seeking Technology Associates for an entry-level rotational program within the asset management industry. The program offers the opportunity to develop technical and functional expertise while supporting critical business initiatives in Client Services, Investments Technology, and Cyber Security.

Responsibilities
Participate in rotations to build strategic understanding of Lord Abbett’s technology stack and enterprise architecture
Work closely with multiple technology teams to broaden exposure and deepen technical skills
Gain foundational investment knowledge in portfolio management, trading, and investment data analytics
Learn client services knowledge with a focus on marketing technology, analytics, client onboarding, and relationship management across retail, institutional, and international businesses
Participate in training to build foundational knowledge of Lord Abbett’s security controls, tools, and secure development practices
Support cyber security initiatives across areas such as application security, vulnerability management, security operations, identity and access management, and cloud security
Partner with technology teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements through deployment
Assist with identifying, tracking, and helping remediate security findings from scanning tools, testing, and audits
Design, develop, test, and deploy technology solutions supporting investment, analytics, and client or corporate services
Apply Agile development practices, including CI/CD, while collaborating within and across development teams
Explore and apply technologies across DevOps, cloud, and infrastructure environments
Work directly with business stakeholders and end users to deliver impactful, user-focused solutions
Support security monitoring and threat detection, including development of dashboards and detections to identify and investigate suspicious activity
Contribute to application security by assisting with thread modeling, secure design/code review support, and security testing automation (e.g., SAST/DAST, dependency and container scanning)
Support incident response readiness by maintaining playbooks/runbooks, participating in tabletop exercises, and supporting investigations
Partner across cyber security and technology teams to embed security into development workflow and deliver practical improvements that reduce risk and improve resilience
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Systems, or a related field; graduating or in-between December 2025 - June 2026
Exposure to one or more programming or scripting languages (e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell) and a willingness to learn new languages and technologies quickly
Foundational understanding of software development concepts and modern technology environments (e.g. databases, cloud platforms, networks, operating systems, or APIs)
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research, troubleshoot, and resolve issues independently
Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, listen effectively, maintain confidentiality, and learn processes and procedures quickly
Genuine curiosity and desire to learn about the Asset Management industry and its technology and risk landscape
