Responsibilities
Lead the video editing team in producing high-quality video content for Bloomberg's various platforms
Collaborate with producers, directors, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver compelling visual narratives
Oversee the entire post-production process, including editing, color correction, sound design, and final delivery
Ensure all video content aligns with Bloomberg's brand standards and editorial guidelines
Stay updated with the latest video editing software, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve the quality of content
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior video editors, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
Work closely with the graphics team to integrate visual effects and animations into video projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a news or media environment
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects
Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging video content
Preferred
Experience with color grading and sound design is a plus
