A&D Sales Representative (High End Residential) - Luxury Wallcoverings
Irving Knight Group is an international manufacturer of luxury wallcoverings, and they are seeking an A&D Sales Representative to build and nurture relationships with top interior designers and trade professionals. The role involves meeting sales targets, managing client portfolios, and promoting the brand across the Greater St. Louis area.
Responsibilities
Be the face of international manufacturer of natural, textured and specialty wallcoverings across the design community, building and nurturing relationships with top interior designers and trade professionals
Contribute directly to our growth goals, deliver exceptional service, and bring our brand to life across the territory
Meet and exceed sales targets by actively managing a portfolio of clients and identifying new business opportunities
Conduct 12+ client appointments and 15+ project shops weekly to maintain strong relationships and promote our latest collections
Identify and onboard new residential and commercial interior designers, opening 50+ new accounts annually
Use platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn to share the brand and engage with the design community
Ensure clients are up to date with our latest product offerings and maintain their sample libraries
Track and manage project opportunities in our CRM, coordinate with Customer Experience, and follow up on open quotes and sample requests
Work closely with Marketing, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless client experiences
Attend industry events, trade shows, and host client engagements such as lunch & learns and happy hours
Keep up with industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform your sales strategy
Submit weekly and monthly reports on client visits, pipeline activity, and performance metrics
Promote brand at local design schools and within the broader design community
Structured onboarding with clear 30, 60, and 90-day milestones and continued training for long-term success
Qualification
Required
Must have interior design product sales experience in the territory with existing A&D network
Willing to consider an Interior Designer that wants to convert into a Rep role
Business development mindset—you're energized by finding and developing new relationships
Must have the ability to travel
Proven ability to build trust and influence at all levels
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organizational habits and comfort working independently
Tech-savvy with working knowledge of CRM and ERP systems
