Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain complex front-end applications using React and TypeScript, following best practices for performance, accessibility, and maintainability
Architect reusable components, libraries, and patterns that promote consistency and efficiency across the codebase
Contribute to Angular-based projects as needed, supporting legacy systems or hybrid architectures within the platform
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into performant, responsive interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences
Partner with backend engineers and DevOps teams to define, integrate, and optimize APIs and ensure seamless deployments
Lead code reviews and establish front-end coding standards, ensuring high-quality, well-tested code across the team
Identify and address performance bottlenecks to ensure fast, responsive applications across all supported browsers and devices
Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application reliability and reduce regressions
Participate in technical planning, sprint ceremonies, and cross-functional discussions to drive product and engineering alignment
Stay current with front-end trends and advocate for improvements to our tech stack, tools, and development processes
Mentor and lead junior engineers, fostering collaboration and ensuring adherence to front-end best practices and quality standards
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience building production applications with React (5+ years)
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including advanced types, generics, and type-safe patterns
Experience with modern React patterns including hooks, context, and state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or similar)
Familiarity with Angular (1–2 years of experience)
Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
Experience with front-end build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, or similar)
Strong experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
Experience with cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and integration with automated testing pipelines
Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think both creatively and analytically
Proven experience working with teams, fostering collaboration, and driving technical initiatives
Ability to communicate effectively with development teams and cross-functionally
A strong sense of ownership and accountability for product quality
A willingness to make decisions, exhibiting sound and accurate judgment
Preferred
Experience in the iGaming and/or Sports Betting industry
Start-up experience, with the ability to adapt quickly and drive projects to completion under time pressure
