Responsibilities

Line of business asset tagging support, tracking, and various reporting
Conduct actual to intended line of business new purchase allocation analysis and recommend corrective action plans for exceptions / discrepancies found
Assist in operating, maintaining, and enhancing the various files used for performing the month end asset allocation, as well as the monthly line of business review and summary of asset tagging reporting
Assist in the design and development of tools for use in the line of business asset allocation process which will enable and assist with adhering as closely as possible to intended line of business preferences for newly purchased assets, along with following certain rules and/or guidelines regarding the general allocation of assets
Assist with the design and implementation of process improvements and automation opportunities to various workstreams
Respond to ad-hoc management requests for investment and portfolio related information and analysis
Participate in special projects, as needed

Required

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to understand and write complex formulas and functions
Ability to analyze large data sets and draw concise insightful and meaningful conclusions for communication to management
Bachelor's degree in fields of business, finance, or economics, or extensive related business experience
2-3 years of industry experience
Self-starter, with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, along with keen attention to detail
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced multi-company, multi-system, deadline-oriented environment
Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge and understanding of insurance company assets and liabilities

Preferred

Knowledge of MicroStrategy, Aladdin, PowerPoint, and Power Pivot/BI a plus
