Responsibilities
Lead & Inspire : Manage and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and accountability
Stay Hands-On : Engage directly with architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and problem-solving
Drive Delivery Excellence : Oversee the development of scalable, secure, and resilient telecom and software platforms
End-to-End Ownership : Guide the full software development lifecycle — from requirements and architecture through to deployment and operations
Collaborate Across Teams : Work closely with product management, solution architects, and sales engineering to align technical roadmaps with customer needs
Innovate for Scale : Introduce best practices in CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud-native deployment to accelerate time-to-market
Qualification
Required
Proven track record in a senior engineering leadership role within telecom and/or enterprise software industries
Hands-on expertise with Programming: Java (primary), plus exposure to Go, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
Cloud Platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Containerisation & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB
Messaging & Integration: Kafka, RabbitMQ, REST, gRPC, SOAP
DevOps & CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Terraform, Ansible
Telecom Technologies: BSS/OSS, 5G Core, Diameter, SIP, VoIP, Charging & Billing Systems
Strong grasp of microservices architecture, API-first design, and distributed systems
Experience with application security, performance tuning, and high availability design
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
