Responsibilities
Lead procurement strategy for data center projects from preconstruction through commissioning
Source, negotiate, and procure critical infrastructure, including but not limited to: UPS systems, Generators, Busway / Bus Bars, CRAC & CRAH units (cooling systems)
Support procurement of IT infrastructure in coordination with owner and project teams
Manage vendor selection, RFPs, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and purchase orders
Track long-lead items, manufacturing schedules, and delivery timelines
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and procurement-related schedule impacts
Collaborate closely with project management, construction, and commissioning teams
Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, and key suppliers
Ensure compliance with contract terms, technical specifications, and project requirements
Support cost control, forecasting, and procurement reporting for owners
Qualification
Required
7+ years of procurement experience in data center, mission-critical, or large-scale industrial construction
Demonstrated experience sourcing UPS, generators, busway, and mechanical cooling systems
Strong understanding of data center construction workflows and Owner's Rep environments
Proven ability to manage long-lead equipment and complex vendor negotiations
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Willingness to work on-site and travel as required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
