Responsibilities
Design and integrate technology systems, including audio-visual, security, and automation systems, into MEP projects
Collaborate with other members of the MEP team, architects, and other design professionals to ensure that technology systems are integrated effectively into the overall design of the building
Ensure that technology systems comply with all relevant codes and regulations
Provide technical support to clients and contractors
Oversee the installation and maintenance of technology systems on construction sites
Prepare and review technology system calculations, drawings, and specifications
Research and stay current on the latest advancements in technology related to MEP engineering
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology design and integration
Strong knowledge of audio-visual, security, and automation systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in AutoCAD and other industry-specific software
Preferred
Experience in the MEP industry
