Industrial Quality Engineer - Urgent Hire
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Quality Engineer for their client, an anodizing specialist for the semiconductor industry. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for client-facing engineering solution development, implementation, and supporting day-to-day activities surrounding the operation of the quality system.

Responsibilities
Collecting test data, data entry, and drafting quality reports
Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards
Creating and maintaining company inspection reports
Preparing & maintaining NCR, and CAR records
Communicating with the customer regarding product quality or design issues
Writing and reviewing Quality Procedures and Forms
Assisting quality engineers with internal & external Audits
Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly
Maintaining the Quality Procedures, Training, and Quality Database
Works with a positive attitude and reports all questions or problems to the Team Lead or Supervisor
Manage workload with a positive attitude as a team player in a collaborative work environment
Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management
Qualification
Required
College diploma in mechanical or industrial technology, quality control, or related area
2 to 4 years of experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment, including 1-year writing procedures intended for the assembly line
Certificate in quality assurance
Must be able to read and write to complete required forms
Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
Preparing & maintaining NCR, and CAR records
Think ahead and can see the big picture when planning new manufacturing processes
Identifying strategic changes that will have big impacts
Know how to run a project from start to finish
Approach a process while considering it from all angles
Work assigned schedule which may vary and could include weekends and holidays
Work overtime when required
Arrive at work on-time
Comply with company policies
Complete paperwork and related administrative duties
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds frequently during shift
Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
Preferred
Spanish speaker is a plus
