Sr. IT Network & Cloud Services Manager
Seattle's Union Gospel Mission is seeking a Sr. IT Network & Cloud Services Manager who will oversee IT staff and manage cloud services and network operations across multiple sites. This strategic role involves ensuring the reliability and security of the Mission’s hybrid infrastructure while collaborating with department leaders to drive innovation and modernize systems.

Responsibilities
Oversee, maintain, and optimize mission-wide IT networks, cloud services, and infrastructure across multiple sites
Manage hybrid technology operations spanning:
Azure AD / Entra ID, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online
Cloud-based communication platforms (Microsoft Teams, Net2Phone, Nextiva)
Zendesk or comparable cloud ticketing/help desk systems
Support integration, access governance, and user provisioning across cloud CRM platforms, preferably Virtuous
Develop and execute strategies for network modernization, cloud migration, scalability, and security
Collaborate with data and analytics leadership to support relational database environments, including SQL-based systems and Snowflake, ensuring secure access controls and data connectivity from applications
Lead, mentor, and develop IT staff including network administrators, technicians, and help desk specialists
Provide structured opportunities for staff growth, certifications, cross-training, and leadership development
Foster a collaborative, forward-thinking, and service-oriented team environment
Partner with leadership to assess future technology needs and plan upgrades that align with mission priorities
Implement cloud governance, security policies, and best practices across systems and networks
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, cloud services, or system integrations
Develop troubleshooting strategies to reduce downtime and enhance user experience
Prepare and report on IT budgets, expenses, and resource allocation
Manage vendor relationships and cloud-service subscriptions
Ensure continuity of operations and disaster recovery readiness for both networks and cloud platforms
Collaborate with data and analytics leadership to support relational database environments, including SQL-based systems and Snowflake, ensuring secure access controls and data connectivity from applications
Oversee configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of:
Windows Server environments, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory / Azure AD
Firewalls, routers, switches, wireless networks
SharePoint, Teams, Exchanged Online, and O365 applications
Support onboarding operations and develop cloud-based training materials for end users
Run regular operational reports and communicate findings to leadership
Ensure all IT operations uphold Mission policies and procedures
Participate in organizational meetings, initiatives, and cross-functional efforts as required
Perform additional duties as needed to support the Mission’s success
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, or related field; or an associate's degree plus 10+ years of relevant networking experience with supervisory duties
Experience managing Windows 11, Windows Server OS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
Experience configuring and supporting network devices—routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems
Experience with Microsoft 365 suite, Azure AD/Entra ID, and SharePoint Online
Familiarity with VOIP systems (Teams Voice, RingCentral, etc.)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Understanding of relational database concepts and experience supporting data platforms such as Snowflake (permissions, integrations, connectivity troubleshooting)
Experience with Azure cloud administration, SharePoint Online
Experience with cloud CRM platforms, especially Virtuous
Experience administering Zendesk or other cloud ticketing systems
CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certifications
Experience with cloud automation, scripting, or PowerShell
