They are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform various testing in a CAP-accredited laboratory while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in results, along with maintaining quality control and assisting with specimen handling.

Responsibilities

Perform waived, moderate, and high-complexity testing while ensuring accuracy and timely results through adherence to QC and QA methodologies
Maintain a strong focus on detail, reference ranges, and clinical relevancy
Assist with specimen receiving, respond to pneumatic tube requests, and handle phone inquiries with professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
Exhibit flexibility by working in all lab sections as needed

Qualification

LIS proficiencyMLS (MT) certificationMLT certificationHigh-complexity testingInterpersonal skills

Required

Experience with LIS (Laboratory Information System) is required
MLS (MT) or MLT certification through ASCP or eligibility

Preferred

Preferred experience in all lab sections
MLS (MT) or MLT certification preferred (ASCP)
