Product Manager II, Retail Ads

Responsibilities
Develop the overall strategy for their area on how to drive consumers, advertisers and Google value in Retail Ads, by reimagining the shopping experience with Ads
Translate strategy into clear, compelling initiatives and an actionable roadmap, and secure buy-in and approvals from the broader Ads and Partner organizations
Understand user needs, quality of experience, and metrics, and rapidly, creatively problem-solve and adjust products based on learnings
Collaborate with the broader Ads organization, and organic counterparts to ensure we are building and delivering a holistic, cohesive shopping experience for our users
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role
2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.)
Experience with Retail, Ads, Google Shopping, or Consumer Product Design
Preferred
3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership
2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders
Understanding of the Ads and Retail businesses (across end-consumers and advertiser needs) with consumer product intuition
Ability to absorb and quickly improve an idea or process
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends
