Responsibilities
Preventative duties include: maintaining correct fluid levels, changing oven lamps, changing compressed air filters, polishing molds, greasing and oiling equipment, checking and changing the pneumatic, water and oil lines, changing air filters and no-lu on air conveyor, changing machines over to a new bottle size, rebuilding stretch rod cylinders and blow nozzles and other assemblies on the bench, performing air leak checks, assisting with spare parts inventory checks and putting parts away, completing paperwork documenting work performed, may also assist mechanics with repairs and more complex preventative work
Qualification
Required
Must be mechanically inclined
Ability to follow instructions
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently
Previous manufacturing experience operating, troubleshooting and cleaning high speed production equipment
Continuous work near heat, noise, gas, and chemicals
Frequent lifting (up to 50 pounds) is required
Climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending and kneeling
Preferred
Previous experience operating or performing preventative maintenance/cleaning of blow mold equipment
