The role involves traveling to customer sites to perform installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting while ensuring safety and efficiency in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

Most of work is disassembly/reassembly – take unit apart, inspection
Preventative maintenance and something is broken

Qualification

Mechanical expertiseGas turbine experienceTechnical drawing interpretationHydraulic tools proficiencyPrecision measurement toolsComputer savvyIndustrial backgroundDiesel mechanic experienceAirplane turbine experienceRelative degree/certifications

Required

2+ years of relative experience in a field technician role
Able to read/understand technical drawings and instrument readings
Comfortable working in the natural elements, confined/tight spaces, or at varying heights
Industrial background – anything industrial mill writing, aerospace, large machinery
Traveling experience – must make their own arrangements – get a dispatch on where they are going – jump on concur to book whatever you need – every 2 weeks expense report
Computer savvy – travel/expenses/time entry/evaluation feedback/documentation – SharePoint to view data

Preferred

Hydraulic tools/pneumatic/air tools - +++
Experience working on gas or airplane turbines
Deisel mechanic experience
AMP Past/Airplanes – right mechanical aptitude
Proficient with precision measurement tools
Relative degree/certifications
