Responsibilities
Engage with business stakeholders to gather, document, and translate requirements into effective SAP functional solutions
Design, configure, and support SAP PP solutions, with a strong emphasis on Process Industries (PP-PI) and best-practice design
Execute and support unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure solution quality and performance
Provide end-user training and ongoing functional support across SAP Logistics modules
Diagnose and resolve SAP system issues, providing clear recommendations and long-term improvements
Collaborate closely with SAP colleagues, developers, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time
Contribute to continuous improvement by staying current with SAP technologies and identifying enhancement opportunities
Occasional on-site engagement to strengthen relationships with users and gain deeper insight into business processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
Strong background as an SAP Functional Analyst or Consultant within manufacturing environments
Deep hands-on experience with SAP PP (ECC 6.0 or higher), including: PP-PI, Batch Management, MRP, Shop Floor Control
Solid working knowledge of related SAP modules (MM, SD, LE) and their integration with FI/CO
Understanding of how logistics and manufacturing decisions impact financial outcomes
Experience using SAP tools such as LSMW, IDOCs, ABAP Query, SQVI
Exposure to SAP integrations with external systems (e.g. MES, BI tools)
Awareness of S/4HANA and the complexities involved in upgrade or transformation projects
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving or lean environment
Able to work independently or take ownership of larger initiatives within a team
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Calm under pressure with a consistent focus on delivery
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
