They are seeking an Electrical Curriculum & Content Lead to create high-quality educational content for electricians, collaborating with licensed electricians and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Responsibilities
Develop high-quality educational content passing journeyman, masters, and contractor exams for electricians, including:
Exam-level multiple-choice and calculation questions aligned with NEC
Study guides, reference material, and walkthroughs
Instructional videos, images and supporting resources
Specialized content for 2026 NEC updates, and load calculations
Develop high quality educational content for electricians who are looking to renew
Code related content like load calcs, or grounding and bonding
NEC code updates
Specialized work courses, like how to wire a transformer, panel installation, bending pipe
Collaborate closely with licensed electricians and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy and real-world relevance
Use AI-powered workflows to accelerate content creation while maintaining instructional quality
Audit and improve existing content to ensure it’s correct, clear, and effective for students
Create and publish SEO-optimized blog content for electricians
Ensure all content aligns with Dakota Prep’s curriculum structure, SEO strategy, and quality standards
Qualification
Required
Licensed electrician or experienced electrical instructor with deep familiarity with the NEC and field work
Experience teaching, training, or creating educational content for electricians (e.g., apprenticeship programs, exam prep)
Strong understanding of electrical calculations, code lookups, and practical jobsite workflows
A clear communicator who can explain complex topics simply
Excited to help shape the future of trades education
Preferred
Have experience with SEO, blogging, or creating community content for technical audiences
Are comfortable using AI tools to support content creation
Have contributed to curriculum committees, code updates, or instructional design efforts
