Responsibilities
Function as the leader of a field survey crew team and report to the Land Survey Director
Review project scope to determine needs and ensure job accuracy
Communicate with contractors and developers on-site
Operate survey equipment to accurately and efficiently collect field data
Provide technical assistance to crew members
Be willing to work outdoors and perform physical tasks while maintaining a professional, positive attitude
Qualification
Required
5+ years land survey experience required
High School diploma or GED
Mechanical/math aptitude
Strong communication and time-management skills
Valid driver's license and insured
Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions
Ability to carry at least 40 pounds over various terrain
Occasionally lift at least 80 pounds
Preferred
Prior knowledge of CAD, civil engineering and/or construction industry preferred
