Qualification
Required
A Master's degree with both credit hours and athletic administrator experience related to the subject matter of the course being taught
A minimum of five years of experience in an Athletic Administrator role
Certification as a Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA) or Certified Master Athletic Administrator (CMAA) through the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) is required to teach seven of the fourteen courses in the program: ATAD 550 Leadership & Organization Behavior in Athletic Departments, ATAD 551 Sociology of High School and College Athletics, Impact of Law and Ethics in Athletics Administration, Holistic Development of High School Student Athletes, NIL and Fundraising Strategies for High School Athletics, Financing High School Athletics, and State and Federal Regulation of High School Athletics
Preferred
A Terminal degree (JD or PhD, DBA, or EdD) in the subject matter of the course being taught
Experience developing and teaching courses online in an accelerated format
