Responsibilities
Develop and implement AI/ML methodologies for de novo antibody design, multi-objective optimization of antibodies, antigens, ADCs, and other biologics
Integrate computational approaches with experimental Design-Predict-Make-Confirm cycles to generate high-quality, large-scale biological data
Build predictive models for protein design and developability using NGS, in vitro, in vivo, and other proprietary datasets
Stay current on advances in NLP, ML, and generative AI to create novel tools that enhance therapeutic discovery
Collaborate across teams to optimize computational infrastructure and provide solutions to scientific challenges
Communicate complex scientific ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualification
Required
PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field (MS with 8+ years or BS with 10+ years relevant experience considered)
Proven experience developing ML models for chemical or biological data, including molecular generation and affinity prediction
Experience modeling antibody/antigen sequences, structures, and interactions
Proficiency in Python and cloud computing
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills; able to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration
Preferred
Experience with modern ML architectures for antibody design (LLMs, diffusion models, flow-matching, Bayesian optimization, GNNs)
Experience designing de novo binders for specific targets/epitopes
Experience analyzing NGS-derived antibody repertoires
Knowledge of molecular simulation and conformational analysis
