American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking qualified individuals to join their team as Equipment Mechanical Manufacturing Technicians. This role is critical for building, installing, and completing system maturation activities for production equipment across North America, while also providing support for manufacturing issues.

Responsibilities

Ensures equipment and/or software is running properly for production by following standard procedures

Partners with a more experienced Technician to troubleshoot and repair tooling and leverages knowledge gained from training to begin independent troubleshooting of 'low' risk items

Proactively looks for/identifies potential for process and quality improvement and calls to attention of Supervisor; may occasionally participate in developing recommendations

Supports new model activity, as assigned by project leader and/or Leadership

Participates in checks, tests, trials etc. under supervision of more experienced Technicians and/or Leadership

Utilizes assistance of other Technicians assigned to the job, as appropriate

Qualification

Required

2 Years of Related Experience in mechanical field or qualifying degree

Maintenance program, tooling build shop or robotic program experience

Project leadership/planning capability

Written and verbal communication skills
