InternIQ Storage is seeking a passionate and curious DevOps/Automation Intern to join their engineering team. This hands-on opportunity is designed to provide educational value and practical experience in a professional engineering setting, focusing on streamlining CI/CD pipelines and maintaining scalable, automated infrastructure.
Information Services
Responsibilities
Assist in developing and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
Support containerization and orchestration using Docker
Help manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.)
Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
Collaborate with developers using Bitbucket for version control and code reviews
Track tasks and sprint progress using Jira
Document workflows, configurations, and best practices in Confluence
Troubleshoot deployment issues and contribute to system monitoring
Participate in team stand-ups and DevOps planning sessions
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems
Basic understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS
Exposure to Jenkins, Docker, and CI/CD concepts
Experience or coursework involving the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
Scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, etc.)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative environment
