Responsibilities
Bring structure where it doesn’t yet exist
Handle employee relations with professionalism and judgment
Create consistency across multiple locations
Own and optimize HR systems and processes
Support leaders in making sound people decisions
Protect the organization through strong documentation and compliance
Employee relations, corrective action, and terminations
HR compliance, policies, and handbook management
Benefits administration and annual open enrollment
Timekeeping systems, PTO tracking, and attendance discipline
Onboarding and offboarding processes
Manager coaching and HR guidance
Personnel files and documentation accuracy
Ownership of the HRIS, including system configuration and maintenance
Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and audit readiness
Managing user access, permissions, and security
Producing HR and leadership reporting (headcount, turnover, compliance, etc.)
Ongoing system optimization as the organization grows
Qualification
Required
5+ years of progressive HR experience
Prior experience running the full HR function independently
Hands-on ownership of an HRIS (configuration, reporting, data integrity)
Comfort handling difficult employee relations issues directly
Strong judgment, organization, and follow-through
Ability to operate calmly under pressure
Preferred
Healthcare, dental, or multi-location experience strongly preferred
