Responsibilities

Architect agents: Tool-using, retrieval-augmented, human-in-the-loop systems with structured outputs and auditable actions
Run evals: Offline/online eval harnesses, gold sets, A/Bs; track quality, safety, latency, and cost
Own production: APIs, workers, data models, and frontends; CI/CD, logging, tracing, SLOs, fallbacks, guardrails
Integrate deeply: CRMs/ERPs/GLs/custodians via APIs, SFTP/webhooks/RPA; enforce data quality, lineage, and privacy
Generalize wins: Turn bespoke deployments into reusable services/SDKs for rapid rollout across new verticals
Work on-site: Partner with operators during diligence and post-close; map workflows, land first value, iterate

Qualification

Required

2+ years shipping and operating systems in Python (FastAPI) and TypeScript (Node/React)
Expertise in frontier LLMs, function calling, embeddings/vector DBs, RAG, agent orchestration, eval frameworks
Reliability mindset: Meet SLOs; optimize latency/cost; build observability and incident playbooks
Secure data handling (PII/financial), auth/IAM, auditability; comfort with legacy systems
Crisp discovery, scope management, and clear communication with executives and end users

Preferred

Ex-founder or founding engineer preferred; high ownership and bias to action
