Responsibilities
Lead and support the design process through all project phases, from schematic design to construction administration
Create schematic layouts, construction drawings, and permitting documents
Prepare marketing and presentation materials
Participate in construction administration, including site visits, RFI responses, submittal reviews, and issuing meeting minutes
Research and source furniture, lighting, fabrics, and other finishes
Maintain and organize finish/material libraries
Qualification
Required
B.Arch or M.Arch from an accredited institution
5–8 years of experience in a NYC architecture firm, with a focus on corporate interiors and/or retail
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, detailing, and materials
Working knowledge of NYC building codes; zoning experience is a plus
Ability to select and specify architectural finishes, lighting, and fabrics
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
