Responsibilities
Oversee and improve cost accounting processes and monthly close activities
Analyze manufacturing and production costs, comparing standard vs. actual, and identifying variances by product and customer
Maintain accurate inventory records and quarterly reserves per GAAP
Lead physical inventory programs and cycle counts
Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to improve KPIs and financial visibility
Develop and document processes around inventory and costing
Provide management with insights into cost drivers and profitability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5+ years of cost accounting experience
Strong knowledge of internal controls and GAAP
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
SAP experience a plus
