The role involves analyzing procurement system issues, implementing additional functionality, and preparing various reports using SAP data.

Responsibilities

Analyze and solve Procurement system and functional issues in SAP ERP (ECC or S4/HANA) and Ariba/Ivalua in a timely manner. Respond to business users for procurement system related questions and issues
Implement additional functionality to SAP MM, Ariba and their testing
Collect and analyze procurement data required for various reports on procurement activity including contract and inventory related activity
Prepare various reports using SAP data including state mandated annual report of procurement contracts

Required

Sound knowledge and experience of working in Procurement process - Source to Contract and Procure to Pay process
Functional knowledge of SAP Materials Management (MM) module, tables, transport, transaction codes, SAP Query and Reports required
Experience of working with business users to resolve their issues
Good communication skills and customer service support as well as organizational skills required

Preferred

Functional knowledge of e-sourcing systems such as SAP Ariba, Ivalua
Contract Management, Catalog and Risk modules is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, should be able to generate reports using Pivot tables, XLOOKUP etc
Additional certifications, such as SAP certifications preferred, but not required
College degree or similar
