Responsibilities
Own end-to-end design of major mechanical subsystems and ensure proper integration into full systems
Lead cross-functional design reviews, balancing mechanical, electrical, and software requirements
Drive system-level validation efforts to ensure performance, reliability, and safety
Develop and refine mechanical engineering standards, best practices, and processes
Collaborate directly with customers, product managers, and suppliers to deliver high-impact solutions
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, promoting technical excellence and design rigor
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
Advanced proficiency with CAD tools such as Onshape, SolidWorks, or Creo (assemblies, DFM, etc.)
Strong background in mechanical design and system integration—preferably in automation, robotics, or heavy equipment
Proven experience delivering complex systems from concept through production
Strong understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Advanced knowledge of stress/strain analysis (FEA) and vibration analysis
Demonstrated expertise in design-for-manufacturing, prototyping, and large-scale testing
Ability to influence technical direction and manage competing cross-disciplinary requirements
