Senior Patient Support Specialist - Telehealth
X4 Life Sciences is a pioneering telehealth team looking to hire their first Senior Patient Support Specialist. This role involves owning the support experience for client storefronts, resolving complex patient issues, and monitoring call center quality.
Responsibilities
Own escalations: Resolve complex patient issues frontline teams can’t, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
Monitor quality: Review calls and tickets, identify patterns, and flag systemic issues
Support storefronts: Become the expert on your assigned patients, therapies, and workflows
Build processes: Help design escalation workflows, decision trees, and best practices from scratch
Bridge teams: Connect patients, call centers, clinical teams, and leadership with clear, actionable insights
Qualification
Required
2+ years at a startup or fast-growing company, ideally within the digital health / life sciences space
Customer support or CX experience handling complex, high-stakes issues, and ideally a familiarity working with offshore call centers
Strong tech fluency and comfort with imperfect systems – fast learner and hands on nature
Ability to spot systemic issues as well as just one-off problems and troubleshoot with the team accordingly – proactive mindset needed
Excellent written and verbal communication with patients, teams, and executives
