Consumer Services

Responsibilities

Own ongoing development and maintenance of the React Native app
Implement new mobile features from Jira tickets
Fix bugs, performance issues, and platform-specific defects
Maintain compatibility with iOS and Android OS updates
Manage app releases and versioning via GitHub workflows
Ensure stable push notifications, subscriptions, and app navigation
Review PRs and follow established repository conventions
Work independently with minimal oversight
Communicate clearly via Jira comments and async updates
Coordinate with XPERTS support on releases and infrastructure dependencies
Respect existing architecture, guardrails, and migration workflows
Keep mobile dependencies up to date where appropriate

Required

4+ years of professional React Native experience
Proven experience shipping and maintaining iOS and Android apps
Strong understanding of: React hooks and functional components, Mobile navigation patterns, Push notifications (FCM), In-app purchases / subscriptions (RevenueCat preferred)
Comfortable working in an existing codebase
Experience with GitHub-based CI/CD workflows
Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing systems
Strong communication and self-management skills
Expo experience in production apps
Familiarity with Django REST APIs
Experience supporting subscription-based apps
Previous side-project or startup experience
Experience working with async, distributed teams
