Responsibilities
Interviewing stakeholders
Eliciting, analyzing, specifying, and validating business, solution, and transition requirements
Communicating these through the software development life cycle (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative)
Applying strong communication, modeling, analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, negotiation, and leadership skills to meet stakeholder expectations
Acting as a liaison between business customers and IT teams
Ensuring alignment and resolving gaps in understanding
Providing guidance to less-experienced analysts
Performing gap analysis between current and future states to achieve strategic goals
Spending approximately 65% of their time on requirements elicitation
10% on user stories and sprints
25% on research and defect remediation
Qualification
Required
7 years of BA experience (gathering, eliciting, and documenting complex requirements)
experience working in an insurance industry (familiarity with regulation, compliance, and data validation)
large enterprise project experience
agile & waterfall framework experience
strong written and oral communication (able to facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions)
bachelors degree in a related field
