Supply Chain & Customer Service Coordinator
The Lawton Standard Co. is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Supply Chain & Customer Service Coordinator to support purchasing, logistics, inventory control, and customer communication. This hybrid role ensures materials are sourced efficiently, orders are delivered on time, and customers receive clear support from order placement through delivery.

Responsibilities
Source and purchase castings, machined parts, raw materials, and related products from approved suppliers
Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery terms with vendors
Prepare and issue purchase orders aligned with customer and project requirements
Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues
Coordinate domestic and international shipments with carriers and freight forwarders
Prepare and review shipping documents, including packing slips, bills of lading, and customs paperwork
Track shipments and provide status updates to internal teams and customers
Ensure on-time inbound and outbound deliveries
Maintain accurate inventory records, stock levels, and reorder points
Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies
Support forecasting and replenishment efforts
Collaborate with operations to improve warehouse and storage processes
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and order updates
Process customer orders and ensure accurate entry in ERP/CRM systems
Communicate proactively regarding lead times, delivery schedules, and changes
Support sales and operations with documentation, quotes, and follow-up
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, logistics, or customer service
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Experience using ERP or inventory management systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a small-team environment
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Preferred
Manufacturing, foundry, or metal casting industry experience
Familiarity with international shipping and import/export documentation
Basic knowledge of purchasing or accounting principles
