Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed production plans and fabrication schedules
Analyze drawings, BOMs, and model data to optimize shop sequencing
Coordinate closely with engineering, detailing, procurement, and shop supervision
Plan labor, machine utilization, and work centers to avoid bottlenecks
Track production progress and adjust plans to maintain delivery commitments
Support continuous improvement in throughput, efficiency, and lead times
Assist with look-ahead planning and priority setting across multiple projects
Qualification
Required
Experience in structural steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing
Strong understanding of fabrication workflows (cutting, fitting, welding, coating, shipping)
Ability to read and interpret structural steel drawings and BOMs
Experience with production scheduling / planning tools (ERP, MRP, Excel, or similar)
Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating at the shop–office interface
Preferred
Engineering background preferred (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or similar)
