Mechanical Project Engineer

Responsibilities
Oversee contracts for mechanical installations and M&E packages, including:
Communal heating systems
Gas compliance (including DSEAR assessments)
Legionella testing
Renewable heating alternatives
Drive delivery of planned maintenance programmes to meet ambitious standards
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, CDM regulations, and Bristol City Council policies
Manage budgets, procurement processes, and contractor relationships
Prepare specifications, reports, and contract documentation
Qualification
Required
Experience in M&E maintenance, ideally within social housing
Strong project management and contract administration skills
Recognised engineering qualification (Degree/HNC) or equivalent experience in Gas Safety/building services
Knowledge of commercial gas systems and compliance requirements
Ability to innovate and improve service delivery
