Medical Assistant - Family/Internal Medicine & Pediatrics
MaineHealth is seeking a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant to join their busy Family/Internal Medicine & Pediatrics practice. The role involves providing exceptional care to patients of all ages and working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.

Providing exceptional care to patients of all ages—from newborns to older adults
Working alongside a supportive team of providers and staff who value collaboration, compassion, and patient-centered care
Qualification
Required
Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date
A NH Med Tech License, or NH EMT and National Registry EMT license is required for those positions located in New Hampshire
Preferred
High School diploma or GED preferred
Graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience completed
Completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program and 6 months of clinical experience in a practice setting
1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting (equivalent experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis)
Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification preferred or achieved within 1 year of eligibility
Relevant experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
