Responsibilities

Draft and file pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery documents

Assist attorneys in mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation

Manage a portfolio of approximately 120 active cases, ensuring efficiency and compliance

Conduct legal research and summarize findings

Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files

Prepare court bundles and exhibits

Schedule depositions, hearings, and client meetings

Coordinate with attorneys and other team members to provide litigation support in commercial cases

Perform conflict checks and open new matters in the practice management system

Maintain attorney calendars and deadlines

Required

Bachelor's degree required

Proven experience in commercial litigation and familiarity with New York courts

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw)

Experience with case management systems (e.g., Clio, Relativity, iManage)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

High attention to detail and organizational skills
