ATR International is seeking a Quality Control Technician who will be responsible for executing daily activities associated with sample receipt, processing, storage, shipment, and documentation within the Quality Control organization. This role ensures compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements while managing the lifecycle of samples supporting various testing processes.

Responsibilities

Receive incoming samples, verify accompanying documentation, and accurately log sample information into LIMS

Execute sample receipt, processing, and aliquoting activities to support release, stability, and retain testing

Label, store, organize, and maintain samples in accordance with established procedures and storage requirements

Coordinate and manage transfers of samples to internal and external testing laboratories

Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and restocking of sample storage and lab support areas

Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Material Management, Corporate QC, and other QC groups to support sampling, testing, and material disposition requirements

Manage and complete all shipping activities related to QC samples

Review routine documentation including chain of custody forms, processing logs, logbooks, and other QC Lab Support records

Assist in deviation, investigation, and corrective action activities as required

Provide updates during daily and weekly team meetings

Participate in Lean Lab and Operational Excellence initiatives

Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements

Perform additional duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree OR

Associate Degree with 2+ years of experience in Quality Control or biopharmaceutical laboratories (FDA-regulated environment preferred) OR

High School Diploma with 3+ years of experience in Quality Control or biopharmaceutical laboratories (FDA-regulated environment preferred)

Preferred

Strong working knowledge of GMP practices in a QC laboratory environment

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Visio

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small-company environment and adapt to changing priorities

Flexibility to work extended or overlapping shifts, including overtime as needed
