The role focuses on effective communication with customers and technical staff to ensure a positive service experience, which is crucial for customer retention.

Responsibilities
Creating a repair orders, properly documenting customer information, vehicle info and mileage
Provide an initial estimate for the repair visit
Get customer approval before going any further than what was approved
Communicate status updates with customers regularly throughout the day via phone, email or text
Become knowledgeable about the vehicles and the repairs that you are handling
Product training
Follow manufacturer warranty and service contract guidelines
Make sure that we can get paid for the work that we expect to be paid for
Become familiar with state laws for repairs: 3 C's- Complaint, Cause, Correction....for all repair orders. Document everything!

Required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Sales skills
Multitasker
Strong organization skills. This is a fast paced environment!
Good general understanding of computers.....everything is electronic in our business!
Previous experience as a technician or service advisor. Minimum 1 year
Preferred
High school or equivalent
Customer Service: 1 year
