Responsibilities
Create and gain approval for all Sales Estimates in a timely manner
Capacity management
Analyzing and planning for demand spikes
Coordinating that materials are on hand for scheduled jobs
Daily communication with sales and account management to update estimate status
Create and secure approval of estimates meeting both internal (production) and external (sales and customer service) requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Estimating
Knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
Ability to strategize and think creatively
Advanced computer skills
Intermediate Excel skills
Good facility in math including fractions, decimals and measurement
Preferred
Related field preferred, or a minimum of 3 years of packaging and or paperboard industry experience
