Dairyland Power Cooperative is seeking an intern for their Reliability Engineering team. The role involves extracting and analyzing reliability data, performing data management tasks, and assisting in asset management strategies to enhance the performance of utility assets.

Responsibilities

Extract and analyze maintenance and reliability data from the EAM/CMMS to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement
Perform data quality checks, validations, cleansing, and migrations
Develop and generate reports to communicate findings and recommendations to the maintenance and reliability team
Assist in the evaluation and optimization of asset management strategies to enhance the reliability and performance of utility assets
Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other team members to support ongoing maintenance and reliability projects
Maintain accurate records of data, analysis, findings, and recommendations

Required

Student pursuing a position in reliability, industrial, or mechanical engineering or a related engineering technology field
Preference given to candidates in their junior year of a 4-year program
Knowledge of the power generation or transmission industry is beneficial
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
Must possess strong mathematical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, MS PowerBI)
Familiarity with EAM/CMMS systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Valid Driver's License
