Responsibilities
Partner with Product Managers and Designers to develop innovative products that meet market demand and financial objectives
Create 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings that align with customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities
Research and recommend new materials, technologies, and development methods
Lead and manage product testing and approval processes to ensure compliance with company and industry standards
Deliver product milestones on time and in line with project timelines
Develop and maintain detailed product specifications and engineering documentation
Define key factory specifications and collaborate with suppliers to ensure product quality, durability, and consistency
Build and evaluate prototypes, conducting physical tests to validate performance
Ensure components and assemblies meet all relevant industry and internal standards
Travel internationally (primarily to Asia) 3–4 times per year to work with factories and suppliers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
1–3 years of experience in product development or engineering
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar); Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Willingness and ability to travel internationally 3–4 times annually (10–14 days per trip)
Preferred
Knowledge or passion for outdoor sporting goods categories strongly preferred
