Electrical Engineer Technician

The Electrical Engineer Technician will apply technical knowledge to manufacture, maintain, and service medical products, while collaborating with various teams and solving non-routine problems.

Responsibilities
Ability to read electrical schematics, diagrams and written and verbal descriptions to perform quality testing on surgical devices and equipment
Inspect, test, calibrate, analyze, trouble-shoot, manufacture and repair electrosurgical devices and equipment, i.e. generators, and take appropriate action to correct any issues
Travel to offsite locations to transport, troubleshoot and/or repair equipment and devices
Maintains records and files of readings, data collected during calibration, trouble-shooting, preventive maintenance and other tasks, in compliance with ISO and USMI and Endocontrol requirements
Performs preventive, corrective and scheduled maintenance of equipment and devices
Performs other duties as assigned by R&D Director or CEO
Qualification
Required
Electrical Bachelor of Science (BS) or Technical Degree required
Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience as an Electrical Design, Manufacturing or Technical Engineer
High level of understanding with all aspects of digital and mixed analog design
Proficiency with basic laboratory equipment such as Digital Oscilloscopes, DMM, Power Supply, and Communications Analyzer required
Preferred
Experience with designing for Electromagnetic Compatibility preferred
Embedded SW experience a plus
Experience with FPGAs a plus
