Responsibilities
Build awareness, increase knowledge, and drive adoption of modern data technologies by clearly articulating business and engineering value
Collaborate on complex, high-priority problems to deliver data solutions that directly impact customers and internal teams
Provide expert guidance while fostering an inclusive environment where diverse ideas are encouraged, heard, and championed
Promote a culture of engineering excellence, including reuse and inner-sourcing of solutions where possible
Communicate effectively with and influence stakeholders at all levels across the organization
Serve as a trusted advisor for specific technologies, platforms, or capabilities, shaping unified use cases and implementation patterns
Mentor internal talent and actively participate in hiring to build a strong pipeline of next-generation data and tech professionals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 7 years of experience in data engineering
At least 5 years of experience in data architecture
Preferred
Masters' Degree
7+ years of experience using Python, Java, Go, and SQL
3+ years of experience with Kafka, Airflow, Spark, AWS Glue/Kinesis
3+ years of experience with Databricks or Snowflake
1+ year of experience deploying machine learning models
