LHH is partnering with a company in the DMV area to find a part-time paralegal. The role involves assisting with citation formatting and legal fact-checking to support the review and production of legal publications and briefs.

Responsibilities

Asist with Bluebook citation formatting and legal fact checking to support the review and production of publications and briefs
Assist with citation review ranging from a 14 page brief to a 50 page research paper
Assist with verifying citations, footnotes and endnotes for accurately to support the legal and factual assertions of text
Provide detailed feedback to authors and editors regarding citation issues
Any other duties required of the role

Bluebook citation expertiseCitation checkingResearch skillsAttention to detailWriting skills

Required

Must have extensive experience with the 22nd Edition of the Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation
Must have heavy experience performing citation checks
Must have excellent attention to detail
Must have strong research and writing skills
