They are seeking a Registered Nurse to take on the role of Infection Preventionist / Staff Development Coordinator, leading infection prevention efforts and training staff to create a positive workplace.

Responsibilities

Lead infection prevention efforts

Train and support staff

Assist with hiring and onboarding

Help create a positive, growth-focused workplace

Effectively educate healthcare staff and patients about infection prevention practices

Monitor, track, analyze data and trends associated with infections, immunizations and antibiotic use, and educational opportunities

Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents

Support a respectful and positive work environment

Required

Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)

Must have a strong background and hands-on experience in a long-term care clinical setting

Active Indiana RN license or ability to obtain Indiana license

The Nursing Home Infection Preventionist Training through the CDC (can be provided at this facility upon hire), or advanced training in infection prevention and control
